Respect the flow
Creative work needs focus. The tool should remove steps, not add them, for your team and for your clients.
Manifesto
Why ClientAI exists, and what we hold ourselves to.
We built ClientAI because creative people should spend their time on the work they were hired to do — not on managing the process around it.
The friction
It starts with a simple PDF. Then a reply. Then a forwarded thread with a new stakeholder. Three weeks later, you're digging through "Re: Re: Fwd: Design V2" looking for approval on a button color. Context is lost, deadlines slip, and the joy of creation is buried under administrative debt.
One tool for tasks, another for chat, another for files, another for design, another for video. Your client doesn't use any of them. Hours that should be billable go into moving information between silos, playing the role of a human integration.
Clients judge what they can see. They see the final file, but not the iterations, the strategy, or the organization behind it. When the process is invisible, the value is invisible — and that leads to commoditization and the "can you just make the logo bigger" syndrome.
If you deliver world-class design in a chaotic email thread, you undermine your own authority. The container matters as much as the content.
Principles
Creative work needs focus. The tool should remove steps, not add them, for your team and for your clients.
No dark patterns, no inflated claims. We describe what the product does today, and the tool should be as honest as the work you put into it.
We sweat the details so the interface recedes and your work is what clients notice.
