The Manifesto
We built ClientAI because we got tired of being project managers when we were hired to be designers.
It starts with a simple PDF. Then a reply. Then a forwarded thread with a new stakeholder. Three weeks later, you're digging through "Re: Re: Fwd: Design V2" looking for approval on a button color. Context is lost, deadlines are missed, and the joy of creation is buried under administrative debt.
You use Notion for tasks, Slack for chat, Dropbox for files, Figma for design, and Loom for video. Your client doesn't use any of them. You spend 20% of your billable hours just moving information between these silos, playing the role of a glorified api.
Clients judge what they can see. They see the final JPEG, but they don't see the 40 iterations, the strategy, or the organization. When the process is invisible, the value is invisible. This leads to commoditization and the "can you just make the logo bigger" syndrome.
If you deliver world-class design in a chaotic email thread, you undermine your own authority. The container matters as much as the content.
The code behind the code.
We don't do loading spinners. Every interaction in ClientAI is optimistic and instant. We respect your flow state above all else.
No hidden fees, no "contact sales for pricing," no dark patterns. The tool should be as honest as the work you put into it.
We sweat the details on border radii and font kerning so you don't have to. The interface should recede, letting your work shine.
We are a small team of former agency owners, product designers, and engineers. We built ClientAI because it's the tool we wished we had five years ago. We are bootstrapped, profitable, and answer only to our customers, not venture capitalists chasing infinite growth.
